Welcome to The Lamb Inn at Wantage

The Lamb Inn is truly a family pub in more ways than one and you are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome. Our opening hours are now Monday to Thursday 11am to 10pm (food 12 to 9pm) and Friday & Saturday 11am to 11pm (food 12 to 9pm). On Sunday we are open 12 to 9pm (food 12 to 8pm).

Over the past fifty years there have only been two landlords and the current team have been here for the past 27 years. Lee and Gary proudly manage the pub, closely helped by other families and staff.

Those visiting The Lamb for the first time will be surprised when they walk through the door. The exterior of the building with its ancient thatched exterior, its beams and warped walls, hides an enormous pub and gardens. The central part is open plan; the glass ceiling makes it light and airy, while smaller, more inti¬mate spaces lead off to secluded rooms, gently lit with candles at night for an intimate feeling.

The pub can cater for up to 150 diners, with seating for another 150 in the garden. Families are welcome and there is a play park to keep younger visitors amused. We provide car parking for up to 30 cars.

The pub offers full wheelchair access throughout and has disabled facilities described as "the best in town"! Dogs are also welcome if kept on leads.
